What’s What on Maurice and Peckus (Important Places, Props, and Crap Like That)

Steven here once again. Yes, it’s been a while. But I decided to finally add this. This time, I decided to make a post about the various places and objects in the Maurice and Peckus universe.

M&P Detective Agency – The HQ of Maurice, Peckus, and their friends. It’s basically an apartment in the Peaceville Houses apartments. The apartment mainly has a kitchen, a bed, a hammock, a TV, and the phone where missions come from. Next door to the HQ is the lazy trio of Fred, Dominic, and Jerry.

Warehouse 64 – What may appear to be a dusty old warehouse is actually the lair of Freddie the Ferret. This is where the ferret stores his loot, discipline his minions, and make plans on how to destroy the Cartoon Police.

DragonPaw Cafe – The most popular get-together in town. The heroes usually come here to relax from tough missions or just get a drink of Italian Soda. Vannesa works here from time to time.

The Foxworthy Crown – A mystical crown passed down from all of Mayor Foxworthy’s ancestors starting from her ancestor Queen Maria II of England. Know to possess many powers to whoever owns it. Because of it’s amazing power, the mayor keeps it in a glass case and hides it in her office. Most of, if not all of, Freddie the Ferret’s plans involve stealing the crown and using it to rule the world.

Who’s Who on Maurice and Peckus (Part 3: The Allies and Minors)

Steven once again. More info on characters in Maurice and Peckus.

Officer Lenard Lion – The head officer of the Peaceville Police Department, boss of Maurice and Peckus, and sometimes the parental figure of the toons. He usually contacts the Cartoon Police (the collective name of Maurice, Peckus, and the gang) about new missions through telephone ala Sam and Max (Maurice and Peckus even fight over who answers, and Maurice usually wins). He’s usually the supervisor of many of the events in Peaceville.

Mayor Foxworthy – The perky mayor of Peaceville. Despite her “vigorous schedule”, she always seems to have time for Maurice and/or Peckus to visit and ask for her advice. She’s usually more than happy to help and enjoys their visits (even though she usually calls security to take them out afterwards.)

Gregory “Big Man” Bird – Peckus’ father and part time masked wrestler “The Feathered Thunder”. He periodically visits Peaceville to see his son and help him out with his problems. Even though he has aged a bit (he’s around 45, near Lenard’s age), he’s still quite the fighter and can lift almost as much as his son. Fun fact: I modeled this character after my own dad.

Tyresha the Mouse – Nutty’s friend and playmate. She has an innocent crush on Peckus, much to his disgust. Because of this, Peckus usually tries (and sometimes, succeeds) in matching her up with Nutty, who has no problem with it since he has taken a liking to Tyresha.

Fred, Dominic, and Jerry (all jaguars) – Three brothers who live next door to Maurice and Peckus. These three lovable losers tend to scheme their way into things and are usually the ones behind some prank, from which they always try to distance themselves when things go awry.

Myrtle the Turtle – A male turtle who is an outcast. Despite his appearance, he likes planning to take over the world but never succeedes at it. Whenever he does plan to take over the world, it usually ends up helping Maurice and Peckus with the current situation. He’s like Rodney Dangerfield with a shell.

Who’s Who on Maurice and Peckus (part 2: the enemies)

Steven again. Here’s the villains of the Maurice and Peckus series.

Freddie The Ferret – The main enemy of the Maurice and Peckus series. He’s a mobster villain who always let’s his minions fight for him. He’s almost never seen without his purple Derby hat. Even though he always makes his lackies fight his battles, he’s quite the sharp shooter.

Gordy the Gator – Don’t let his silly name fool you. He’s quite a vicious and wild creature. He is a rival to Peckus. Gordy has great physical strength that rivals or even surpases Peckus and is quite agile for someone his size. Not only that but he has a roar that will make a lion cower.

Captain Pete (a parrot) – A sailsbird of the Seven Seas. Basically picture Yosemite Sam in a parrots body. He always wear’s a big pirate hat and clothing and carries a sword he uses in combat. An easily-angered bird mainly cause of Peckus or Nutty.

Shalom Durring (a German Shepard) – A traditional Scotsman…er…Scots-dog. He is quite strong but not as much as Peckus. He uses his bagpipes as a “haggis launcher” and ranged attack. He’s not so fond of Peckus and Nutty making fun of his kilt (they call it a skirt)

Claire (a grayish black cat) – A sorceress supreme (sorta). Very attractive she can easy charm her male peers to do her bidding. Looks aside, she is a pro at magic attacks and healing potions. Just beware where she points her staff or where she slashes her claws.

Beak The Duck – A very wacky and strange duck. Almost to the point of him fowarding his mail at the aslaylum. He’s quick on his feet and delivers fast blows. He’s main goals are to make ducks top of the world seeing they have enough greif (ask Donald and Daffy). With that said, Maurice claims that Beaks is “one biscuit short of a breakfast combo.”

I might make profiles for allies supporting characters.
