Extra Chapters is a chapter at the end of one of the Kingdom Come books. Usually these chapters consist of a boss that hints to the next main villain in the next book. Here’s the extra chapter for Kingdom Come 1.
Auron and the others had just left Second-Earth. Wolfman was snoozing in his chair and Morph-O and Human Thunder were playing cards while Auron drove the rocket. Auron set the rocket on autopilot and started to doze himself.
All of the sudden Human Thunder yelled “Bingo!”It quickly woke Auron.
“But we’re playing Old Maid?”Morph-O said.
“Who cares!This is torture!I’m so bored!”Human Thunder whined.
At that moment a transmission came in from Collinwood. Auron touched one of the buttons on the control panel and the Brain appeared on one of the screens in the rocket.
At that moment Wolfman woke up and said,”Yo what up Brain Man!”
” Something’s going on in Collinwood.”The Brain said.
“Like what?”Auron asked.
“A strange hooded figure has been seen around here. Whoever this is, I’m pretty sure this person’s a bad guy. We’ve searched everywhere for this person, but to no luck. But for some reason, every time we mention any of you guys this character shows up. Could you help us out?”The Brain said.
“No prob. We’ll be there soon.”Auron replied, and the transmission ended.
Twenty minutes later Auron and the others arrived at Collinwood. They landed in the city park. The Superior Seven were there, waiting for them.
“How can we help?”Morph-O asked.
“We’re all doing a city-wide search.”Tom Boy replied.
“Yes. We will take downtown Collinwood while you guys take uptown.”Mat-er said, and the Superior Seven ran down the road.
Auron and the others started walking down the main road. Auron felt like he was being watched. Little did he know someone was watching him from a roof of one of the stores. But when Auron looked up, no one was there.
“I think we’re being watched.”Auron whispered to the others.
“Yep. It’s probably that hooded figure guy/girl/thing.”Human Thunder replied.
They suddenly heard footsteps behind them. They quickly turned around to find a person dressed in a black robe. They couldn’t tell if it was a boy or girl, for the person’s face was concealed in a black hood. As soon as the figure noticed them looking at him/her, the person disappeared.
“What the-!?”Auron yelled, and ran up to the place where the figure was previously standing.
“Where did that figure go?”Wolfman asked, looking around.
“Look!”Morph-O yelled, pointing to the roof of a nearby store. The black-clad figure was on the roof.
“Quite playing games!What do you want!?”Human Thunder said.
“To test the Chosen One.”the figure answered in a calm voice.
“I was never good at tests in school.”Auron said.
“I’m afraid for you, it’s not that that kind of test.”the person said.
Suddenly, a dark orb shot forth from the figure’s hand. The orb engulfed Auron. The dark orb was connected to the figure by a black chain. The figure hoisted Auron into the air and kept him there. Wolfman, Morph-o, and Human Thunder yelled and used their superpowers to climb the roof.
Before they could attack the black-clad figure shot black lightning at them. They were knocked ten feet back, slamming into the stores on the other side of the streets, rendering them unconscious.
“Come on Chosen One. Use your power to break the orb.”The figure sneered.
Auron couldn’t move and he was in immense pain. Using all his strength, he summoned his hammer in his head. He shot a ray of light out from his hammer. It instantly broke the dark orb surrounding him. He fell from the sir and landed hard on the street. He slowly rose to his feet.
“Your strength Chosen One. It’s truly extraordinar.”The person said.
“What the heck was that for!?”Auron growled, as his friends were coming to their senses.
“I’m going to kill that, whoever!”Wolfman yelled.
“Are you guys okay?”Auron asked.
“We’re better than what that person’s fixin’ to be.”Morph-O said.
“Allow me to test the strength of you and your friends. They say the power of friendship is strong. I’ll be the judge of that.”the figure sneered and jumped down from the roof, to the street below. The cloaked figure landed in front of them.
“Bring it on! With friends by my side, no one can beat us.”Auron yelled. The figure just laughed and the battle begun.
This was the hardest battle Auron and the others had ever faced. The strange person would attack with dark fire, teleport some distance away, and attack again. Sometimes the mysterious person would attack them using black lightning. But using the power of teamwork, Auron and the others were making the figure tire.
Eventually, the mysterious person had had enough. It teleported a few feet away and signaled for this fight to stop.
“Your strength is outstanding. But it looks like you are not as strong without your friends.”the figure said.
“What do you want!?”Auron asked.
“As I’ve told you before. Just to test you. Quite frankly, I expected more from you.”the person sneered.
“Oh really!I’ll show you!”Auron yelled angrily and raced toward the figure. He jumped into the air and swung his hammer at the cloaked figure’s head. Before the hammer made contact with the figure’s head the person disappeared, then reappeared down the raod.
Auron,Wolfman ,Morph-O, and Human Thunder raced down the road after the mysterious figure.
“Who are you?”Morph-O asked, totally freaked out by this person.
“Right now you cannot understand. My father was right though, you are a little warrior.”the person said.
“Your father?And who might that be?”Wolfman said, knowing the mysterious person wouldn’t answer.
“The day will come when we shall meet again. Then, you will understand.”the mysterious figure said, and disappeared for good.
“What was that all about?!”Human Thunder asked.
